Fred Nagel

Fred Nagel heads the GreenHouse Commercial Division, focusing his efforts on energy-efficient commercial retrofits in buildings constructed before green practices were developed. He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including serving as project manager for market leaders such as Swinerton Management and Consulting, Gafcon, Cumming Corp. and Barnhart. 

Fred’s professional accreditations include LEED AP (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design, Accredited Professional) through the U.S. Green Building Council and he is also a licensed general contractor and certified professional estimator. He has two bachelor’s degrees from Sonoma State University and a master’s degree from the University of California at Davis, and he received certification in construction practices from San Diego State University.
